"Per Johnsen and Fredrik Fröst have, as supplier and customer, developed an IT system whose purpose has been to improve efficiency in assembly. All assemblers continuously register their work and this real-time data is used to update and visualize planning. The system connects all company functions and confirmed delivery times can now be met. The system shows that continuous data collection from assembly can optimize the company's planning and delivery capability, even when the market is volatile. The use of the system has led to increased employee engagement, better overall perspective within the company, and significant improvement in productivity. The system is modularly designed and new modules have been introduced gradually.

The development work shows that even smaller companies can create competitiveness by giving staff access to advanced but easy-to-use tools. Per Johnsen's and Fredrik Fröst's joint work constitutes a role model for Swedish industry."

" OnTop easyMES has meant a great boost for all of Log Max AB and our production planning and control, in particular. Today we have a pure pull production system where we plan the production of our customer orders in OnTop both in the short and long term, for efficient resource use and improved delivery reliability. The system is easy to manage and visual, which means that all employees can easily see the status of all orders and included work in real time and act quickly on deviations. Production times are also measured continuously in the system and are then used in production planning but also for internal product calculations.
