MES Real-Time Management for consistently high OEE

easyMES is not built as a traditional module-based MES system but is implemented as a system with an adaptive cloud architecture. Functionality such as APS Planning and IoT data collection is activated and configured gradually based on business needs. New features are added to the easyMES system as services over time instead of being delivered as fixed module packages. This means that the system can evolve with production without requiring restructuring or system replacement. The result is a flexible MES platform without lock-in to a static system structure.

Data collected via IoT Hub is processed by the system's algorithms and then used directly in easyMES for Real-Time Shop-Floor Management for visualization of production status, OEE, etc. in real-time on pulse boards and dashboards for proactive actions on deviations for all production plans created by the APS cloud service. This creates good conditions for effective operational management and high productivity.

It is a fundamental principle in easyMES that all employees are given access to the same reliable information in real-time for effective communication that enables proactive work and collaboration as well as high flexibility. Detecting and addressing operational disruptions is important to avoid waste of resources that are not working.

The easyMES system visualizes production status and actual downtime. The operator can report quickly with selection of stop codes and make comments for continuous improvement work. Automation gives the operator more value-creating time - Production management is automatically informed in real-time about order status and where they need to help their employees. All critical information for the operator's proactive work is displayed in a dashboard and provides a very good overview of production status, etc.

MES with automated data collection, analysis and processing of real-time data always provides reliable real-time data for operational management

All data for real-time management is created automatically, continuously and securely by IoT Hub, procedures and AI algorithms in the easyMES system on Microsoft Azure server. easyMES does not retrieve production data from ERP because it is not real-time data and therefore does not meet the requirements for creating reliable real-time information for real-time management.
